Garden of Fake tulips

Solo exhibition at MASQ, Cairo, Egypt, May 2024

The eye-catching strokes of Reem Aljeally’s brush are confident, bold, and full of youthful energy. In the exhibition, she presents a collection of her latest works created in Cairo, in which she is diving into a deep parallel world of tulips, cats, and female figures. Her colorful and slyly quizzical paintings express longing for a place and time where human personality can enjoy freedom and fulfilment.
