Middle voids

Solo Exhibition at The French Institute, Khartoum, August 2022

There is one fine line between being inside and being outside. Technically speaking.

But in reality it’s different. Where does the inside begin and where does the outside end or vice versa? The question remains, is this a physical or a mental space? Where does the room build its walls? Is it in our minds or does it exist in reality? Where does space end?

The works examine our positioning with our own physical and mental spaces. They do not provide any answers to the questions or depict a uniformed state. They merely comment on the observations of enclosures and their reflections on the human state.
